Art director and producer Autumn Harris has an eye for capturing and communicating our humanity. There’s a warmth, nuance, and honesty to her work that spans across industries and mediums, from music videos and advertising to narrative film.
Based in Atlanta, Autumn is deeply engaged with the city’s music and culture. This connection comes through in her music videos, where she designs authentic, stirring visuals for artists like Summer Walker, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Usher, 21 Savage, and more. Autumn’s unique approach to art and community touches every facet of her work, from setting to styling and even casting, challenging industry norms to discover genuine, relevant talent to represent brands like Nike, Fresh Empire, and Checkers & Rally’s. As the visual language of the culture continues to evolve, so does Autumn’s portfolio. Her aesthetic touch can now be seen in Ford ads, Billboard shoots, and editorial pieces for clients including Adidas, Spotify, and AT&T.
Autumn’s creative journey began in childhood, with an insatiable curiosity for African American arts and literature, photography, and design. These interests eventually led to a mentorship with director collective Motion Family, who have been on the forefront of visual creativity for over a decade. Working together with Diwang Valdez, David KA, and Sebastian Urrea, Autumn learned on the job with projects ranging from independent music videos to national branding campaigns. The diversity and range of challenges she’s experienced in the field continue to inspire and drive Autumn towards new creative horizons.
Autumn’s philosophy and methods are deeply rooted in her identity, using her love for life as a conduit to touch other people on a true, emotional level.
